3 reasons why this is a crap idea
1) We already have a road pricing tax
2) Great for Londeners where I assume this idea was cooked up, who have an alternative and the money can be pumped back in to improve exisiting public transport, what about the people who live or work in bum fuck no where.
3) Government + massive IT system != success || value
Actually point 3 could mean potentially I could sign up to get onto one of these government gravy train projects that never ends and pays a fat final salary pension.

we also have another roadpricing tax called road tax
so we londeners are bein taxed 4 times for using the roads in addition to other costs incurred because the tax collected is not being pumped back into the roads....
1 - Vat on car purchase
2 - Roadtax
3 - Fuel tax
4 - Congestion Charge
5 - Car maintaince increase due to badly maintained roads
very good points there so we are agreed its just a way of adding more tax onto something thats easy!
